How are you sure it is not the German built one ? As a left hand drive... it should be logic. |

I'm not. But there's also a british Cortina spotted in this movie, and given how big the Ford of UK presence was in Greece during the 1960s ( at least in 1963 , Ford (Consul) Cortina was the most popular car there , which, thanks to that, dramatically increased the sales of british Ford's in Greece ), the logic would follow that other british Ford's were pretty popular there later on, but I guess since Ford Werke was ALSO sold in Greece, I've no way of telling if it's a british-built or a german-built one. Greece was a strong Ford UK territory in 1960s - they even made a Greek special Cortina 1100cc in Mk2 and early Mk3 years. But by 1975 the Ford Europe integration was well underway, so D-supplied seems a likely possibility. |

Sometimes it is really confusing and downright annoying with EU Ford's. It's like that Ford in a czechoslovak movie. You'd think, logically, it would be a D-Ford (left-hand drive, closer to Germany etc), but it isn't because... politics. And now there's this ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-04-04 14:33:10 |
