Is it possible get any info from the plate to check if it's still taxed? I believe the plate reads ZWX 957. It seems that it was possible to check the plate for the Mark IV. -- Last edit: 2020-03-17 15:14:20 |

Peerless has a detailed 2-page entry in the Standard Catalog of Imported Cars, 1946-2002, including a named distributor (European Motors Inc., Detroit). No info on numbers imported and dates apart from 1958-60, but has quotes from a Road & Track test. Not sure if ours is LHD or RHD, but this recent page for a red LHD Mk1 in US has wipers in same format. Pity the rear plate is blanked out .... |
