Looks long enough to be a V-16. |

Not a V-16 with those bumpers, not a 29 Caddy without the fake package drawers under the body. Possibly a LaSalle or a Buick. In fact, isn't it the same car seen here: /vehicle_135179-Buick-Series-40-30-47-1930.html -- Last edit: 2013-03-18 07:17:57 |

No, it's not the Buick. It's the same one you see in the above thumbnail, and that one passes by in the same direction, uninterrupted shot, before the Buick slams on its brakes and its driver loudly scolds Kirk and Spock. Both cars are in the scene and are clearly different. |

^Thank you. Note the lights by the cowl not on top of the fenders; not a Cadillac at all then. |

Maybe it'll help with ID if I switch the main pic with the thumbnail?![]() |

I wonder if it might be a Peerless 8-125 like this one - http://blogs.autonet.ca/time_machines/general/peerless-precision/ .I don't think it is a Nash Ambassador 8 or a Graham-Paige 837. here are not a lot of other very long American cars to choose from. -- Last edit: 2013-03-19 00:54:31 |

The Peerless had a trunk back like this: http://forums.aaca.org/gallery/image/13956-1929-peerless-8-125/ However, this one could have had the trunk removed at one point. Could also be a 1928 LaSalle? http://www.velocityjournal.com/pictures/org/83/6196.html -- Last edit: 2015-09-28 00:52:03 |
