Did this become the Acura NSX? |

is, Acura was mostly here, and was known as Honda about everywhere else ( like Integra for example ) |

Yes. Also hence why it's called NS-X rather than NSX (how the production models were called). It does seem like the production models had a slightly more rounded front-end. -- Last edit: 2020-02-10 04:43:35 |

Wait a sec. Upon second comparison, this actually does look more like a production model rather than its prototype, even though it still has an 'NS-X' plate, but it has fog lights and the bumper grille resemble more a production model, but the footage is from a 1989 show ![]() I'll have to do some research on this.. -- Last edit: 2020-02-10 04:56:08 |

Alright, apparently I was fooled by that plate. This IS the production model (the first production debut for NSX was at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show and then later here at 1989 Tokyo Motor Show), but they've decided to change the model name from 'NS-X' to 'NSX' right before they appeared in the dealerships. -- Last edit: 2020-02-10 05:12:14 |
