jcb ◊ 2020-02-13 07:21	Irritated me greatly this one as I knew I had seen a picture somewhere of this very machine. First thoughts were Gallic Saviem/Berliet/ Willieme. However now discovered the book and it was the last thing I would have thought of a LANCIA! It is a 1970 Lancia 506-12 with autopompa aeroportuale bodywork by Bergoni. Seems the designer went to great lengths to design a fantastic 'Thunderbirds Style' cab then forgot about the back and just stuck a exposed tank and hoses on

s13a ◊ 2020-02-16 18:02	it matches with the picture, but isn't the model name actually 506-112, according to the site where it shows that scale model fire truck?: http://users.libero.it/clpers/mezzi_aeroportuali.htm It says the year is 1970 , but the movie itself is from 1966. Could it be an earlier model?
