There is an apparent lack of front dumb irons, suggesting transverse springing. The wheels may be wire, so possibly a prewar Ford chassis, but no other evidence is visible. |

I'm familiar with all sorts of automotive terminology, but I haven't heard "dumb irons" - I'm just curious, what are those? |
