Two steering wheels... an old time "cuistax" ?

Slightly 50s Ford Popularish, but not sure anything matches exactly. Fords had solid wheels after WW2.

There is an apparent lack of front dumb irons, suggesting transverse springing. The wheels may be wire, so possibly a prewar Ford chassis, but no other evidence is visible.

I'm familiar with all sorts of automotive terminology, but I haven't heard "dumb irons" - I'm just curious, what are those?

Casting for the suspensions/springs. More common on cars up to the mid-1920s.
