Various names. Model Y, Eight, Junior. Design origin was USA, but, apart from prototyping, none was built there. The Y was assembled in Barcelona, where cars sent from Dagenham were uncrated and put together. It appears, from a Spanish contemporary advertisement, that the cars were called 8 H.P. “Con pocos litros bastara. Es un nuevo Ford 8H.P.” 1934. (Ford Popular and the small sidevalves, Dave Turner.
