It's right hand drive, which seems strange as the film was made in Shanghai. My guess is it's a British Ford AA in disguise. |

This Ford AA could be a genuine survivor from pre-war China, because some parts of the country drove on the left before 1946. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_directionality#China_.28mainland.29 This photo of Shanghai in 1920 shows trams driving on the left and a right hand drive bus, also on the left hand side of the road. |
