Sold as Austin Princess 1800 in Italy.

Not really. They were listed in the Austin price list but not mentioned as Austins. Every car magazine put them together with Austins in the price lists but for simplicity purposes. Italians were not used to badge engineering at the time.

I personally disagree a bit. The ad said that but Austin was not writte on the car. This was simply a way to assure possible customers that the car was linked to a well-known make (and Austin had a huge popularity in the first Innocenti years when it was written on the back of the Italian A40 and J4.
