[RL1] chassis code. However, I don't think fog lamps were introduced in 2002, since a few 1999-2001 models seem to have them. Example: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/60289866.html What I can infer, is that this is at least a 2001 model since Starlight Silver metallic was introduced that year. It also seems to be an EX trim based on its body-colored door handles and side moulding. I have never seen those in the US before and this is filmed in Mexico... Seems that you're right; I just found a 2002-2004 model with a different fog light design: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/47704627-2.html Bizarrely, pre-facelift versions of the Japanese-market Lagreat (JDM version of the North American Odyssey) had the post-facelift fog lights. Very odd that Honda had two different fog light designs... No worries! My friend's mom in grade school had a brand new 1999 bought in 1998 with those 'Touring' fog lamps that is how I knew (or thought I knew) this was a 2002-2004 model. That is why I placed 2002 by default. I knew the 1999-2001 had foggies because the 1st gen 1995-1998 had them (extremely rare now). Hmm so I guess we ought to leave it at 2001 unless there is more evidence of the grille or interior. If it is RHD this is a JDM La Great export. THe only two markets that received this body style were the USDM & Japan (badged as La Great). |

I found several Odysseys of this generation with km/h speedometers on a Mexican used car website, which seems to confirm that they were sold in Mexico. In this case, this is a 2002-2004 Mexican-spec model. |
