I'm not sure about that, but then again, in the 1970's those tractors bought by the councils, as oposed to farmers, were generally slightly tougher. To show that, they were painted in a yellow colour which, I believe contained lead and therefore lasted longer. The red paint soon oxidised. But I don't understand what is hiding the engine, it can't all be ballast to compensate for the rear load? |
