OY, I think. Plate is West Ham, 11/39 to 9/45. Recently demobbed in 1945? |

Without the wheels and tyres being visible an OY is most likely from what is visible unless it was a civilian OWL registered during wartime. |

Any better idea when (what I guess is) LJO400 was issued and how close to mid-1945? I did read that by the end of 1944 the civilian truck production was slightly better with War Department production slowing but when the disposal of surplus wartime trucks began is less well documented but how likely was it during 1945? I'm starting to think this is a OWL civilian truck with a narrow wheel profile maybe being visible. |

AJD400 is what I used to get the 1945 date, AJO is Oxford and 34/5, LJO Is Jan 47, LJD is May 57. |

AJO 400 was Oxford, Dec 34 to March 35. AJD 400 was West Ham, 1943 (within that year's batch of numbers 380 to 555). |
