@mystery man please see the first thumb. I do not believe the authentic 55 AMG was offered with the rear tire mount. At least here in the states it was not available on that model. I believe possibly this badge was added? |

@dhill_cb7 Yes, I think it was added. The badge seems a bit too far on the right. By the 1999 German brochure, the 55 can't get it here, too. I think it has the wrong bumpers for an AMG anyway. |

Not necessarily. Austria built ML too. Without a VIN that is a moot point. |
