Based on a 1932 frame with a 1926 Model T body (originally a pickup body with a roadster rear deck welded on later...hence the unsual drop from the passenger's compartment) and a chopped 1932 grille, and powered by a triple-carbed 1955 322 nailhead Buick V8 and a 1939 Ford transmission. Originally built by Gary Heliker, a body man in Lawndale, CA. The car is still around today, although it looks quite different, with a gray and red scalloped paint job, color-matched steelies, a different grille, and a Chevrolet small block engine. |
