Have another look at the Humber utility ambulance picture, it looks more Austinish in that one, but still not cut and dried imo.

Agreed from the other picture a wartime 1941 Austin K2 is possible or even very likely, but confirming any actual details is not easy and I need to get the Morris-Commercial out of my head!


The cab side window (curved lower edge) looks good for Austin K2 but the swage line under the side glass is definitely straight as the K2 not curved as the Morris-Commercial, therefore the Austin has it.

It's just a trick of the light making grille look Morris.
I still think it's a K3 but hey ho.
Thought the fuel tank position maybe different K3/K2 but it seems to switch sides on K3's and K2's :)
