Where did you get this info...? All 2104s had back wiper. It's not matter if export version or not. |

Some Russian page gives that info. I'll find which one. And the searching for good looking MY samples on domestic market confirms that. |

It has a hole in back door, which should be used to install back wiper. There was no optional thing on VAZ factory as "instaling back wiper for export". It was on all 2104 since 1984 to it's ending in 2012. Not every 2104 has rear wiper. There's plenty of nice early samples without. The source: http://modeli-vaz.ru/vaz/vaz-2104.htm I'm not sure it's true. It's possible rear wiper was an option as well. Or wasn't mounted because of temporary parts' shortcomings. I'm trying to make the summary (Ladapedia .gif ";)") ) of VAZ 2104-2107 year-by-year changes and it's painful job. So many cars are rebuilt with newer parts. There's few types of side mirrors, used simultaneously or temporary. Thanks. Very useful knowledge. 85% samples confirm effects of my investigation. However I've more details about 2104/2105/2107 on my base. I think we should try to find paper manual repair, with list of technical changes. That was the strong fundament of Skodopedia about Skoda Typ 742. |

Hardly an improvement. As a rule of thumb, any bright-colored VAZ can be identified as pre-1990 model. Late models usually came in variations of dark green, dark blue and silver. |
