@Skywatcher - The only thing remotely school bussy about it in its current state is the paint. You can read other posts I have made regarding this subject. In its present state, not a school bus.

I was looking up the Old Car Brochures website, and I saw no designations for 1946 Chevy School Buses. Although I do remember some ads for Art Deco-era trucks that had the same designations as the Advanced Design-era trucks.

Assuming this is the case with the school buses, this could a 4502.

From the 1941-47 'Art Deco' truck line, with the 1946-47 front bumper: depending on the wheelbase, a 4502 or a 6702 model.
