Yes it is. It is only one of the two hero cars that survived the Highwaymen movie. If you look close in this scene you will also see the Eldorado that was also used in Highwaymen. Very unusual that both feature cars used in another movie in the same scene. Right after the filming of Highwaymen the two Cuda were painted red and retained the HEMI stripes and sent to the set of Herbie. The crew again changed the color of the Cuda and removed the rollbar. Only one of the two cars was used and distroyed when the monster truck ran it over. It is currently in a movie car salvage/storage yard somewhere in the desert. The only remaining car was then sent to the set of Malcom in the Middle and did the episode "Malcolms first car" and did a PBS documentry. It being a single car the Cinema movie rental company decided to sell it as TV and Movie rental cars lead a very rough life. It was sold to a private collector in Ohio. It still retains all the props like the wooden cup holder and all the tracking equipment under the dash. Battery still mounted in the trunk. The damage caused on the left fender and quarter in the scene where the door is torn off is still visable. Hope this helps. |

That's a 68 Fastback Barracuda with a 426 Hemi Super Stock scoop and a 1971 thru 1973 Mach-1 Mustang front spoiler !! |

Aww, yeah, she is the same 'Cuda...  Maybe give her two stars since she was involved in blocking Herbie's way? Albeit, unfortunately her and the LTD getting (*shudders*) crushed in the process? |
