Very basic version, it looks like? Not counting the GTI, the trims were (1998-2002) Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. I believe this is a Trendline (the lowest spec) as it has hubcaps instead of alloys, and probably the red and orange tail lights as well. 2000+ white indicator? -- Last edit: 2019-10-05 00:42:29 |

Yes, 2000+ ----- No, there were some more trims 1998-04. The lowest was the 'Basic'-Golf, sometimes called in Germany 'Basis' but official by VW just 'Der Golf'(so nothing for our extra info field). The lowest trim back then was the basic, followed by the Comfortline, Trendline, Highline and the highest was the GTI. Special editions came in beteween, depends on which trim they base. UK's and some other markets' trims had sometimes different names. Today Trendline is cheaper than Comfortline... |
