DynaMike ◊ 2007-07-18 11:56	The original front, but black corners of the bumpers and small black hubcaps: it's a 1972+ Daf 44 or a 1975+ Daf 46 (no external differences, only a simplified one-belt version of the variomatic transmission and some changes in colour).
DAF555 ◊ 2007-07-19 09:38	The updated exterior came for modelyear 1973, to correspond with the new 66 model. There are a few small differences between 44 and 46. On the 44 it´s one emblem on the front reading DAF 44, on the 46 there are two, DAF on one and 46 on the other. It should have been visible here but the picture is to blurred and dark. Also the 46 have extra turnsignals on front fenders, but I´m not sure if that was mounted on the 1974 models of the 44.
DynaMike ◊ 2007-07-19 12:52	Once again I mixed up year of introduction and model year... You're absolutely right, DAF555, the 'new' 44 was introduced in September 1972, so it has to be model year 1973. And thanks, I hadn't found those small differences between 44 and 46 yet.
