GM G-Series van, circa mid '80s-1996. At least 2 or 3 stars, maybe more, if it's the Vasquez' van. Edit; it is, and it's an '85-90ish GMC Rally. -- Last edit: 2019-04-12 01:21:21 |

Ability to park this beast in Philly has to count as a superpower in itself. And it would be very out-of-character for Victor and Rosa to use a handicapped space when Freddy's not with them even if the placard is always in the car. |

This is awesome... I actually own this van now. The VIN makes it a 1991 GMC Rally STX. I buy/restore/sell a lot of '71-'96 G Vans. I have started to restore it and change it up a bit before re-sale (black mirrors and bumpers), as it wasn't taken care of and wasn't stored well by the previous owner after being in the movie in 2018/2019. The previous owner also did not include the original/proper '91 grille from the movie, but I will track one down. This is 100% the van though, the actor that played Freddie even left his script in the van, whicb I still have. I will be continuing to fix/clean it up and then it will be for sale again. ![]() |

What is the weight class? 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton or 1 tonner? I presume since you restore them you would know how to read and decipher the VIN? I can help you decode if you would like. |

Hey hey, yep! More specifically, it's a: 1991 GMC Rally STX Van - 3/4 Ton - from the Scarborough plant in Ontario, Canada. 305V8 w/ 700R transmission (Overdrive) And because it's post-'85/'86, it has a TBI Fuel Injection system instead of a carburetor - the carbs were basically pushed out in '85/'86. Extra option: Rear Heat. *Wheel bolt pattern is 5x5, yep. *All the bumper stickers/stripes were removed after the movie, but outlines of them are still on the original rear bumper, rear doors, and body sides. |

Thanks. We add the weight class as the chassis code. G-2500 should suffice then and I will add the built in Canada tag as well. Oh and add you as the owner. ![]() |

Thanks so much! I'll add an update here if ever sold! I may add some more screenshots of it from the movie, as well as some other pictures of it here soon as well! ![]() ![]() |
