Interesting decal on the right of boot lid, same place what in "Clan", but the word doesn't look like it. 1978 is confirmed by the plate/VIN or is it just deafult, 1st year? |

Using Chico's link would give 1984, I guess |

The "Clan" theoretically matches up to year 1984... |

Yes, but wait... The range for 1984 is "461.101 - N°-Wechsel". Typically the production count in the previous years was around 90,000, so to reach serial 721.220 would mean 260,000 cars produced of this particular type, that's not possible. So I defaulted to 1978. |

That was also the reason for my somewhat doubtful comment. Back to square one |

So perhaps it is non factory or dealer's sticker. The same garage with the same "modern artist" appears also in one of the last episodes, but there is already no this car inside. |

I would bet on a dealer sticker, though a bit larger than the usual little yellow rectangular sticker. The VIN bothers me more as it should contain the model year but it's all zeros... http://renaultconcepts.online.fr/ressources/codes/codes-vin-auto.htm Maybe Vilvoorde had a different system. |
