Actually, a Dodge S-Series with a Superior Coach body. This may be a Fargo instead of a Dodge -- Last edit: 2018-06-25 00:44:43 |

I picked D500 because PPD (Pengangkut Penumpang Djakarta) used a lot of D500 on their fleets back in the 80s. But yeah, it could be a Fargo since there was a few unit of Fargos exist in Djakarta. |

Found some information, Fargo in Indonesia was used more as an interprovince bus rather than city commuter bus, so I'm 100% sure this is a Dodge D-series. Another problem is, I'm not sure this is a D-500 or 600 since 600 was used alot too. ![]() Source: Link to "awansan.com" |

Another thing worth to note, is that Fargo was mostly owned by the now-defunct OBL. They used it for their longe-range routes, like Djakarta-Djogjakarta, Tangerang-Tjirebon, etc... While PPD mostly owned D-500 and D-600 (Source said that 600 had longer chassis) This is what OBL's Fargo looks like: ![]() Edit: OBL didn't defunct actually, but it changed name to Safari Dharma Raya in somewhere at 1999 but some buses on Safari Dharma Raya fleet still has OBL badge on its fenders... ![]() -- Last edit: 2018-06-26 16:15:53 |
