"Made for KP" is not really correct, as the chairman of the German Tatra-club told me, all these black 613 were produced for the COMECON-nomenklatura, especially the Czechoslovakian, but after The Iron Wall felt down and the Eastern Block collapsed, they lost the "customers". So these Tatras stood around, until the Northkoreans took all of them for a cheap en gro-price. Interesting detail: I saw ca.6 or 7 of them in Pyongyang - and all had the rare yellow private plates, even with following numbers  |
