well hello there "the sad biker", you know, it was pretty predictable who was gonna know this bike that i posted, and it was obviously you who had to know about this bike. Also, why did you even call yourself the sad biker? -- Last edit: 2018-03-30 21:52:10 |

Sad as in an Anorak (a very English expression), far too much obscure motorcycle trivia in my head and also sad because I'm not biking at the moment due to a little ill health. More blood tests and a CT scan to come, once the quack has nailed what's wrong I've got big plans for the XS, advance the camshaft 3 degrees for more midrange grunt, and a bump in compression at the same time, permanent magnet alternator conversion (field coil generators are rubbish), rebuilt wheels with stainless spokes and new exhausts. I'm aiming for 65-70 rear wheel BHP, the starting point was 50 BHP (gross) at the flywheel. |

My best wishes to you, having recently been involved in a skirmish with the medics I am sure that they will do their utmost to fix your problem. |

Thanks John, fingers crossed there won't be any surgery involved, ATM it's looking like auto-immune problems, Crohn's and Coeliac are major suspects. |
