I'm guessing that's just a hunch... |

I don't know. But I know this much, I discredit my guess. (I don't know if the NYPD had LTD Crown Vics in the 80's) |

They didn't use any, at least not that I know of. Even if they did, the chance of this being one of those ex-NYPD units is a longshot. I'm sure you remember this car: /images/020/070.jpg |

Hee hee!! Oh yeah! It took exactly five years for the CPD to actually use Impalas. In fact, That exact car was on display at a CPD headquarters in the same paint job. I guess they just added the lightbar for the movie. -- Last edit: 2007-06-15 20:34:31 |

Yeah, I know about it, I frequent the site. I also saw your comments on the CPD Caprice with the Ford hubcaps. |

I find it weird, but It's fascinatng. I drew a picture of a 1991 Caprice 9C1 with Ford hubcaps about three years back. I still have it too. |

I've been fascinated with them since I first saw 'The Last Boy Scout', all those LAPD Caprices and Impalas. Then I saw 'The Fugitive'. Any movie with my favorite cop cars are sheer beauty. |

Notice fender tag. Either an '83 or '84. The '85's + deleted them. |
