There are two different cars here. The big picture is a roadster with a fold down screen and the other picture is a converetible coupe with a fixed screen. The roadster is a 1930 Buick. The other one could be a 1928-30 Reo but I am not sure if they built a convertible coupe. |

That's what I suspected too. These cars are driven by the same character and at some point the car changes. I guess the car in smaller picture could be a small Chrysler (?). Difficult to say as this movie was mostly filmed at night. |

That radiator shape was last used in 1928 and the only convertible coupe made in that era was in the model 72 series for 1928, so if we agree it is a Chrysler it can only be this model. It somehow doesn't look big enough but, as you say, it was filmed at night and looks can be deceiving. |
