This cab was also seen on BMC trucks for a short period I think when they were all part of the same conglomerate. |

1970-1975 Leyland truck range with the Pilot cab that replaced the Austin/Morris FJ. 'Laird' and 'Terrier' light trucks, up to 'Boxer', 'Clydesdale', and 'Mastiff'. I would guess either 'Clydesdale' or 'Mastiff'? |

Cartransport BRS Ltd. typically used 24/26-ton articulated outfits which are beyond the 20-ton gvw of the Boxers. Although this may be another company Cartransport had a yellow livery in common with other nationalised freight operators. Probably 1971 (Aug-70) Leyland Mastiff MS2600TA 26-ton gvw tractor unit. |
