[CP2] as the LX-P only came with the 4-cylinder. |

Are you positive fog lamps weren’t an accessory item? I saw the 2008 brochure but I have a ‘93 and fog lamps were dealer only. Are you sure dealer accessory fog lamps weren’t offered ? Because that might affect some of your CP2/3 posts without wheel/door handle shots. |

I just checked to see if fog lights were available as a dealer-installed accessory on this generation of Accord and as it turns out, they were! However, it seems that Accords fitted with the accessory fog lights also were fitted with these odd-looking surrounds, presumably since the existing bumper was being re-used. Accessory listing, complete with installation guides: https://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/08V31-TA0-100.html For comparison, a V6 model equipped with fog lights: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/7790925.html One other thing to note is that no 4-cylinder models came equipped with fog lights from the factory, so any Accord of this generation without them uses the [CP2] code. -- Last edit: 2020-07-24 05:59:13 |

Nice find. I vaguely remembered a fella I went to college with had an LX with hubcaps and he said I paid extra for the foggies. He saw my ‘93 has them and was bragging ![]() |
