missing from several plate sites, but ..... This vehicle's MOT has expired GILBERN MOT valid until 18 July 2017 Registration EEJ 133E Colour Grey Date registered 18 January 1967 Date tested 19 July 2016 PASS Mileage 49,170 miles A rare opportunity to mention Llantwit Fardre, and Gilbern were the only serious car production in Wales, although several components factories (eg Ford Bridgend) have been around for some time and TVR and Aston Martin are setting up Welsh car plants. Seems 166 produced 1959-67 (although another source says 266) using a sequence of BMC bits - originally A35/Sprite-based with 948cc, at the end had 1798cc MGB engine. |
