EX 7547 was 1952 Great Yarmouth issue, comes up on BLOTW as "Ld PD2/10 522573 Ld H30/26R 1/1953 Great Yarmouth". Pictures found online from Great Yarmouth memories site Blink-and-miss-it film sequence here. A red and white something in Norwich "the red and cream vehicles of the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company" |

Amongst the red and cream vehicles were, at the time of the film, 34 Leyland with ECW coachwork, and 461 Bristols with ECW coachwork. Weight of numbers would suggest, therefore, that it's a Bristol/ECW, but the shape of the grille could be either from this distance. How would you fancy a parcel of bloaters that had been through the post in August? |
