In Fifties'-Sixties'that model was built locally in Brazil as VW Sedan(but if popularly was nicknamed"O Fusca",mangled way in Portuguese of "Volks"term) By plate pattern believe a 1959 or 1960 circa(still 1.2 litre,1.3 arrives in 1968 circa on Brazilian "Bugs") PS Evolution of BR-made Beetles don't follows the same as German item;e.g.,the 1600 engine was intro. on Brazilian "Bugs"only in 1970,but still on a Sixties'end body,unlike as in Europe,where that powerplant was mated with a new 1302("Big Bug")body -- Last edit: 2007-05-08 18:02:43 |
