Callahan ◊ 2007-10-13 22:07	These were equipped with either a 302 5 liter or a 5.8 liter Windsor v8. Both with the VV carb. Variable Venturi. A good idea carb, but not very reliable. Most were replaced with conventional 2v type carbs.

night cub ◊ 2023-08-30 09:48	1979 LTDs have hood ornaments, 1980 base LTD and LTD S do not (the new 1980.5 Crown Victoria have hood ornaments). I believe 1979 also had clear front turn signals, that were changed to amber for 1980.
