Subaru it is, air cleaner location is a give-away for the rare flat four & FWD-layout only used by Lancia and Subaru. Bonnet inside is 100% Subaru, A-posti is a match so yes: 1st generation Subaru Leone from early 1970s for sure. |

Fine, the point is that your statement was incorrect, both the Alfasud and the Citroën GS and GSA had 4 cylinder boxer engines and front wheel drive, so that system is not exclusive to Lancia and Subaru. Hmmm... the Cemsa-Caproni... Sweet memories! Too bad they skipped that 3-cylinder radial engine shown in that Antonio Fessia concept in Turin in the late 1940s. |
