Since about 2008ish cars get removed from the DVLA site if they get scrapped (a certificate of destruction is issued). However, they will still appear on other databases that give model/trim/etc details. From this government site: https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk GN02VDX was scrapped some time after its last MOT in March 2007. I remember the parents of a schoolmate had one, but they always complained that it was too quickly ageing. They replaced it after only 4 years with a Renault Scénic, although it was kept as a second car still for some time (my mate traded it in for a brand new Ford Ka+ after getting a driving license). |
