Square indicators and black plastic air intake under the windshield indicate a 1978+ version. The TL had always shiny bumpers, the grey ones are typical for 1981+ basic model which was, by then, called Renault 4 (tout court), not R 4 L. Maybe in the movie the upper hings of the front door are visible (1981), if not it's a 1982 when the rear view mirror is placed on the dashboard, or 1983-1986 if this mirror is placed higher. Without better pictures I'd stay with 1981 Renault 4. |
