I'm not certain this road registered car is genuine. Who would modify the tail to open like a boot/trunk and screw on some indicators -to make it drive-around-Paris legal?? And I suspect they've placed headlights behind the grille. These cars are way too valuable to modify like that. If anyone can search BL-498-RF I'll be curious to know what car it comes up with ![]() |

Another view. Seems to be a 2-seater (or maybe 1.5-seater) so definitely strange. But if you can make your own from a dead MX5/Miata, the impossible becomes possible. |

Nice kit and yes I've seen that view... snug but they fit! Another question is could you possibly register a real 159 Alfetta for the road in France? I believe in the UK you could ..easily from other stuff I've seen ![]() edit: front grille of this kit looks very similar to the registered car... but is strictly a single seater and was not available in 2017. edit 2: It's a 2-seat replica, too wide from all angles... based on something from 1973 possibly. -- Last edit: 2021-03-13 22:27:10 |

I remember reading 25 years ago or so (used to buy the classic car mags then), someone was building replicas of Alfa race cars and recreating straight 8's by welding 2 twin sparks together, that front suspension definitely isn't Mazda. |
