I think it's bigger than a Seven. Maybe Big Seven???? |

The 'Big' didn't have running boards? |

Not sure .... Grille is wrong for Eight, Ten Cambridge could be right size but again I don't think grille matches. My best second guess is a late 12/4 Taxi, maybe Flashalot or similar. Otherwise I'm struggling ... |

/vehicle_285560-Austin-12-4-Taxi-1932.html . Maybe. A Big Seven following a Ruby following a Goodwood. /vehicle_817983-Austin-Big-Seven-CRV-1937.html Big Seven. /vehicle_978036-Austin-Big-Seven-CRV-1937.html Eight /vehicle_1215350-Austin-Eight-AR-1939.html -- Last edit: 2019-06-27 23:44:12 (dsl) |

Not a late Austin 12/4 Taxi (Flashlot) the windscreen would have straight edges and squared corners with three wiper blades. In fact despite the script on the radiator grille it looks to be a Bedford VX 8cwt light van, based on the ASY/ASX light six. -- Last edit: 2019-10-15 22:17:06 |

The van based on the Vauxhall ASY/ASX Light Six were the 1933-1938 ASYC and ASXC according to Vauxpedianet as pictured here... The 1932 Bedford VX/VY (or VXC/VYC) had the earlier Bedford radiator and horizontal headlamp bar.https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3920/14517323213_8cbb6b2f86_b.jpg /vehicle_896834-Bedford-VYC-1932.html |
