It's very difficult to name a coach when it's only visible from the side. That is when a great deal of the recognizible features is in the front. As this is in South America, one has to assume, because of tax and difficuties to ship, that it's locally made. And one of the most common coaches with the rear half elevated is Nielson with their model Diplomata, introduced in 1961. The chassis is likely (because of trade and diplomatic resons) of German origin, like Mercedes-Benz or Magirus-Deutz. Otherwise Scania has a plant in São Paulo and both Fiat and GM have tried. |
