Window trim doesn't look right for a 59 Ford. |

59 Chrysler or De Soto? (*whimpers*) but the wing window is different. http://www.bigolboys.co.uk/For%20Sale/59_Chrysler_New_Yorker1.jpg -- Last edit: 2007-04-22 01:28:33 |

I'm thinking it's more like a Rambler Classic from the early 1960's |

Good work! I still have a lot to learn, but here's a link to help us out. The front fender countours are perfect, and they do have that Chrysler shape that confused me. The wing window wasn't the only deal-breaker, but also the relatively parallel hood lines, instead of tapering inward like the Chrysler to which I linked. 61: http://www.amcrc.com/photos/roronn61.jpg 62: http://www.amcrc.com/photos/louis_62classic.jpg looks like 62 side trim with the wider part starting on the fender instead of the front edge. -- Last edit: 2007-04-22 03:47:02 |

I have been looking and saw a 1962 Rambler Classic with that exact amount of trim on the door and a little bit on the fender. -- Last edit: 2007-04-22 03:47:18 |

I have a Lassie episode where she almosts bites the dust along with a 57 Ford Fairlane 500 inside of a similar smasher. |

Are we still not sure this is an early 1960's Rambler? |

I believe we agreed this to be 62. |
