Window trim doesn't look right for a 59 Ford.

59 Chrysler or De Soto? (*whimpers*) but the wing window is different.

I'm thinking it's more like a Rambler Classic from the early 1960's

Good work! I still have a lot to learn, but here's a link to help us out. The front fender countours are perfect, and they do have that Chrysler shape that confused me. The wing window wasn't the only deal-breaker, but also the relatively parallel hood lines, instead of tapering inward like the Chrysler to which I linked.

looks like 62 side trim with the wider part starting on the fender instead of the front edge.

I have been looking and saw a 1962 Rambler Classic with that exact amount of trim on the door and a little bit on the fender.

I have a Lassie episode where she almosts bites the dust along with a 57 Ford Fairlane 500 inside of a similar smasher.

Are we still not sure this is an early 1960's Rambler?

I believe we agreed this to be 62.
