Van is owned by Harry Slack Harry Slack's furniture vans Shiefield, regarding Hillsborough shops 35 years ago.

Not confirmed definitely but it could have been either ERF or Albion chieftain from someone who remembers it Albion most probably.

"Albion chieftain, Harry used to deal with Webber furniture in Croydon, all handmade oak,I bought quite a bit of it and still have it after 40yrs Webber are still in business but have moved to Hampshire. "

No, I did some Googleling some time back and found Harry Slack mentioned on a Shiefield Forum. I logged on and asked if someone remembered it.

At the time ERF was proposed as what the van was - later corrected or suggested to be the Albion.

Impressive dedication :) The cab to wheel ratio looks right for Albion and they were popular as removal vans .
