This looks like the short-lived so-called "King Olive" sightseeing bus, which was built in 1950 http://www.rrr.gr.jp/digital_museum/ryobi_bus/kingoribu.html On another picture, below, there's a text which mentions 三菱重工... -> Mitsubishi Heavy Industries... (I can't make out the last 2 characters) http://www.rrr.gr.jp/digital_museum/ryobi_bus/1950kankoubasu.html Obviously there are some details that don't exactly match: wheel spats, the livery, small windows on each side of the roof in the main picture and perhaps the wheelbase itself (there is a small window in front of the doors in the main picture, whereas the one pictured in the link doesn't have that), but other than that, it looks like the body was built by the same coachbuilder (which one, tough?). -- Last edit: 2020-05-07 18:11:31 |
