The film was made in Belize, so it could be ex-British army.

Bedford MK (1971-1981) or a later MJ (September 1982 onwards) 4x4 GS 4 tonne cargo truck. They are outwardly identical, though the later MJ used a 6 cylinder 5.5 litre 330 Turbo diesel engine, replacing the MK's multifuel engine.

This style of Bedford griffin badge was introduced in 1976 if I remember correctly, so I would list this as a 1976 Bedford MK 4 tonne GS 4x4 cargo truck.

It would be useful to confirm that date to see if it might help sort out some of our huge pile of undated TKs.

OK, I've came up with this basic list of yearly changes for the TK:

1958-1968 - silver griffin badge on a black plastic background, amber ''lollipop'' indicators.

1969-1971 - new simplified 'two-piece' indicators with the old style 'B E D F O R D' lettering above the grille.

1972-1975 - white 'BEDFORD' lettering on the grille.

1976-1986 - new red Bedford griffin badge without the black plastic background.

There are likely to be other changes I have missed, so I would be very grateful for any further info on this.

As above, TKs now done as much as I can: the indicator format was the most used distinction, although others worked as well. Still gives us a big block of unseparable 58-68 - noticed that many of these have grilles in black or white as well as body colour, and a few have white B E D F O R D letters above grille instead of chrome. Do those give dating elements?
