Also Argentinian version should be called Suzuki Vitara, if I understood exactly the Wikipedia text. |

No way... what a mistake. Not argentinian version, its pre-2000 made. And its just a Vitara, no the Grand Vitara made in Alvear. |

Is it easy to get US-Spec cars in brazil? because this Suzuki seems to have US-Spec Headlights and Parking Lights as well as a front sidemarker... The year range is 1989-1991 -- Last edit: 2011-08-12 07:07:01 |

Surely, yes. But probably directly imported from Japan. Not the argentinian made, for sure. |

No It is not a Japanese model either as the Escudo does not use the lights seen here either. Vitara/Escudos sold outside of North America had one piece headlights/parking lights not the seperate units seen here. I am going to list this as a US spec Sidekick. |

Maybe Brazil got US Spec Sidekicks. I don't have any Brazillian Brochures to confirm but as far as I know only the US and Canada got the Sidekick name as well as the headlights seen in this photo and on both of the Sidekicks in that video Likewise the only markets that got the rear sidemarkers seen on that video was USA and Canada..... maybe I just learned something new |

You learn... Houve também unidades vendidas com o nome Sidekick, essas provenientes do mercado norte-americano" http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Vitara - "Some units called Sidekick, and come from USA" (the translate to the english). Youre right ![]() |

I am not sure what to think, while looking at online autos for sale in Brazil I see the standard non US-spec Vitaras for sale in Brazil as well as plenty of US-Spec Sidekicks for sale in Brazil... |

Gomselmash11 ◊ 2011-08-12 07:29 |
Because the two are sold in Brazil. The Vitara as the Sidekick. Maybe you translate the text in portuguese. |
