1979-1980 Chevrolet C-20 Silverado Fleetside. Note the newer 4th generation wheels. |

At least a 1978 model, the brushed aluminium interior finishers are visible in the video. The Fleetside pickup box has the old style external fuel cap. A more modern recessed fuel cap with enclosing fuel port door was added for the 1979 model year. It has the updated new-style 9" x 6.5" high-polished stainless steel below eyeline mirrors, which were added for the 1980 model year (just before the front end redesign for 1981), so they are not factory correct as far as the model year goes, and the wheels are not factory correct at all. They merely resemble the original "rally" wheels of old. The pickup may have undergone a restoration of some sort, with wrong pieces being added. |

I do not like when vehicles are restored with the wrong parts, it makes it harder to decipher what is correct and what is not. People should do at least some research before attempting restoration, using parts that (if possible) were appropriate for the corresponding model year. Not parts from older or newer model years of the vehicle’s generation. |

I agree Neptune, although I have to admit that those wheels don't look half bad on this truck. It probably has to do with its similarities to the original Rally wheels. |
