 Natalie, Monk's assistant, drives this A3 for the first (and only) time in this episode. In the same episode, she complains about financial problems and not being fully reimbursed by Monk for her work. Yet she appearently can afford a then brand-new Audi A3 quattro? Product placement plothole strikes again.

No, it is not the only time she drives it. She drives it in episode 7 and 8 of season 7 as well (maybe other episodes as well).

By the way: the headrests of the fronst seats are sometimes removed, probably to shoot the in car scene of episode 7 of season 7 (where Natalie and Monk are in the front seats, talking to the camera on the back seat).
