Yes, it's really...ehm...hmmm..well, let's say astonishing. Ingo, you should look out for an episode of "The Persuaders"/"Die Zwei"(German title: "Der Mann mit dem Toupet") . In that episode, there's also a fake checkpoint between Federal Republic of Germany and GDR with a sign that says:" SIE VERLASSEN DEN DDR!!" Besides that, you're definitely right. Two German cars, a couple of guys in strange uniforms plus weird numberplates don't automatically make an authentic checkpoint. |
