Presumably you mean the round boot badge?? Very difficult to find exactly what boot badge these late Sprites had, with some picture/caption overlaps between Austin-Healey and plain Austin, but eventually ... This June 70 Austin Healey has Sprite script ![]() This "1971" (plate date) has a round boss which doesn't look like octagonal MG logo ![]() ... and this Nov 70 (plate date) definitely looks round ![]() Both Sprites and Midgets had red grille badges, so that doesn't help, but I think with fingers crossed the sill lettering across both VOP 436J pages looks more like Sprite than Midget. So I think Sprite is safe. |
