My suggestion would be RMB, the altve would be RMF, but nothing to be gained from the age related non original number plate. All the images provide perfect obfuscation of almost every recognition point, but the design of the front sidelight rules out RME, and the length of the bonnet, IMO, rules out RMA too. I think that the fuzzy image of the rear window also eliminates RMF, but not certain on that.

It must be possible its this RMA all from season 1 ("re-painted for this series" Messages posted by picky who rents out cars)... ?

Marple: The Body in the Library (2004) /vehicle.php?id=39781
Marple: 4.50 from Paddington (2004) /vehicle.php?id=111275
Marple: The Murder at the Vicarage (2004) /vehicle.php?id=111746

If its only bonnet length I may have try reviewing its appearances in this episode.

RMA was ruled out by me on bonnet length, but only on the evidence of thumb #2. In the case of the bonnet being shorter, RME is ruled out, it ain't one, RMF has long bonnet. The additional white lamps (winkers?) seen in the Murder at the Vicarage example do seem to be there in the main picture.

Yes, those white additional lights are there and look to be significant in car having regular appearances in the series.

Split rear bumper means before Sept 51. If it's the Marple Body In Library, it's a 1948 RMA, HFJ 899.
