Peterbilt, probably the 379 |

Both of these trucks already have their own pages. |

It's not the same red truck as the first one. This one is used at the end of the movie. I removed the Peterbilt name since that's obviously the main truck of the movie...I didn't think I had to put "red truck". -- Last edit: 2007-08-17 14:14:05 |

Okay, then it's this one, and Skid's right. /vehicle_57808-White-GMC-WCA-64T.html |

no difference in model number it has a different bumper and doesn't have the windbreaker thing in the back? they must be cheap trucks if they wrecked 2 of them in this movie. |

should be just a White |

I love that they flipped two red Whites in this movie. |

I would say this one and the other one were former fleet trucks purchased by production to be wrecked in the movie... by the way this truck is a 1984 and the other one was an 1985 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3010/2688277474_541dbc50ba.jpg |

State Wide Trucking (which is says on the door) is a real company, only they aren't from Georgia, there from California, which I can see it says, clearly, Richmond, CA on the door when you zoom in here's the link, but, very hard to tell as it's really blurry when you zoom in, I also read the same thing on the door of the truck Tommy Huff's Character was driving in the hi-jack scene http://www.manta.com/c/mtkd1v8/statewide-trucking-co |

White logo on top of the grille indicates a truck from the 1981-87 Volvo-White era, while a WCA (with set-back axle and integrated headlamps) or a WCM would be a 1988-96 WhiteGMC model. This one is a White WC: (White WC // WhiteGMC WCM) |

I've noticed the bumper on this is different from the other White WC, could that help narrow down the year (perhaps the model as well). |

WhiteGMC was created in 1988. So it's probably a 1987. -- Last edit: 2022-09-08 17:52:44 |
